FAQ
I am interested in sponsoring a program but do not have 20 staff to enroll. Can I still sponsor a class?
Moose encourages programs to look beyond their immediate staff resources and start to build a cadre of FLOs from neighboring jurisdictions, agencies and volunteer groups. His trainings are aimed at building a shared foundation of skills which can be adapted to meet the needs of specific operations and staff skills.
I have an established Family Liaison Officer program but am looking for some professional development. Do you offer custom programs?
Moose is available to work with you to build custom programs for your staff, online or in person. Moose has conducted after action reviews, program assessments and strategic discussions on building FLO capacity.
How much does it cost to sponsor a program?
Moose charges a flat rate per diem for travel and teaching days (2 days of travel + 2 days of teaching) and asks for compensation for travel expenses, accommodation, and preparation. If your organization can provide housing and transport this will make the program cheaper. Contact us to receive a cost proposal.
“I talked with multiple other attendees after the program and we all agreed that this was the best training we have ever had. I can’t even explain how valuable this was for me.”
